Hello!
Early Childhood: the experience.
Sounds strange eh?
Well, all of us over eight years of age have been through it. Hopefully, we have good memories of it, but we must not forget that it may not have been memorable at all for everyone.
In my view, with all the theory, and research conducted so far on the benefits of early childhood education, this very important and crucial period in the development and education of young children, still continues to fall on deaf ears - so to speak!
It is not my intent to recite the facts and figures of early childhood research all over again on this blog. My approach is to 'listen' to the benefits of early childhood education through the voices of professional, and non-professional persons' early childhood experiences. To learn about their early learning before and during school, its relevance in their adult lives today, and the importance they place on early childhood education in their children's development. They will tell their story, in their own words, from their earliest memory of their early childhood.
You may be wondering who is going to be first.
Me.
After all, if I don't lead from the front nobody else will!
Until my next post
Grace
